Greener Grass Farms Rib Steaks

Mmmm. Yum. Grass fed and finished bone in rib steaks from Greener Grass Farms! Grilling season is upon us! THANKFULLY! 

We don't get a ton of steaks processed when we order our cow from Greener Grass, but we do love ourselves some rib steaks. You can dress them so simply, and they are always delicious. Here's how my family enjoys them...

GRILLED GRASSFED/FINISHED RIB STEAKS

INGREDIENTS
  • Greener Grass Farms rib steaks - contact them to get your own!
  • Olive oil
  • Salt/pepper OR steak seasoning
  • Charcoal (for grill or smoker)

METHOD
  • Start your smoker - you don't have to have a smoker, but the flavor is better, in my opinion, with a little bit of smoke. You can smoke them for about an hour or so, or until they reach 100 degrees.
  • Start your grill - I prefer a charcoal grill, but gas works just fine. Sear them up, until done to your preference!
  • Let the steaks rest a good 10 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!

This would be something I don't really miss but I can't help but but imagine what if I didn't stop eating meat? Would I still be alive today? Nowadays it can be really scary just to source your supplies from large supermarkets. You don't really know anymore where they are coming from. There had been an incident early this year where they discovered frozen chicken from the 1960's are still being served in some restaurants. If you really can't help but eat meat, make sure it's organic at least. x
